Gaining perspective or should I say losing perspective!!

This is all to surreal. You see the people that lose weight and you think how cool that must and then you eat that next bag of chips or Twinkies and move on, but it is so very different when it s someone that you know and can touch. It is somehow so much more tangible, I can't really explain it in words.

Here are some new/old pictures that put Rebecca's journey in prospective for me, see what you think!!

It's been a while!!

Well, It has been a good amount of time since we posted anything on the blog; please forgive me. I really wanted to turn this over to Rebecca when she was ready but it looks like I will have to do it until she is ready. Anyways Rebecca is doing absolutley amazing, she has lost 46lbs. God has definitely Blessed her with a new chance to live, love, and laugh. Thank you for all your support and continued prayers. Here is the new family picture, I will get some pictures of Rebecca by her self up soon. Love you all!! Troy

Ready, Set, Go...

Here we are three days since the surgery and Rebecca is up and around like nothing happened. I cannot believe how resilient she is, but it shouldn't really surprise me; she is pretty amazing.

We went to Noah's school and took a walk and the boys rode their scooters around we have decided to go every night that we can; it is a great way for the boys to burn off some energy too.

Rebecca is doing a great with the liquid diet ( I hope that I can do it when its my turn), I can only imagine that is is difficult to drink 2oz of boost every hour, all day long for 3 weeks... We appreciate all your prayers, emails, and calls; please keep them coming. Thank you and we love you all!!

Here's some pictures from our walk.

New Dawn and a New Day

Well it is almost to difficult to believe that Rebecca's surgery is over and we are at home, but here we are... We had Neil's B-day party this afternoon and I think that it was a little bit to much for Rebecca, but we finally made it home and are relaxing now. We will truly will never be able to thank all of you for the generosity and love that you have shown towards us!! Thank you and WE LOVE YOU!!

Hello Everyone

Well it is a little after 9pm and things are progressing well. Rebecca is testing her new breathing machine and she is doing a a good job!! We are hopeful that if all goes well she can go home tomorrow but we will not push it. Please continue to pray that all will remain smooth and that impatience doesn't trump health.

God Bless,

Troy
